We are a non-profit organization of professionals who assist with poverty alleviation, upliftment of people and skills training, to improve the lives of the less fortunate.


Operation Snowdrop is a non-profit organization (Registration no 067363) formed by a group of professional and business people, who with the help of numerous volunteers, are able to assist with poverty alleviation, upliftment of people and skills training to improve the lives of the less fortunate.

It is also registered as a Public Benefit Organization with registration number 930-039-647.


Operation Snow Drop’s community projects are broad in reach and include school and HIV clinic feeding projects, providing clothing, food and other donations to informal settlements, sponsoring students for university and tertiary study, partnering with FNB to open bakeries at a high school and hospital in order to provide skills development, business acumen and income.

We manage the following ongoing projects:

School feeding project at Tlakula High School feeding 450 learners daily, during school terms with alternate arrangements during school holidays.

Assisting with feeding schemes. We hand out sandwiches, clothing and other donations every Thursday to the Never-Never and Hollywood informal settlements and in Geduld.

We have sponsored 15 students and are currently supporting 6 students to further their studies.

We have numerous projects during the year, which include a soup drive in winter, curry and rice meals to 400 people and Christmas functions.

We hand out school shoes and school necessities at various schools.

We partnered with FNB to open 2 bakeries, one at Tlakula High School and one in the Far East Rand Hospital in order to train the marginal and unemployed and provide skills development and business skills.

We have been upgrading the pediatric ward at the Far East Rand Hospital.
